Activities

Katsunori Oyama received his BS, ME, and PhD degrees in Computer Science from Nihon University, Japan. From 2007 to 2010, he studied at the Department of Computer Science, Iowa State University, USA as a postdoctoral researcher. He is now an associate professor in department of computer science, Nihon University. He received the IEEE TCSVC Outstanding Service Award in 2020. His primary research interests concentrate on ontology in machine learning models, DIKW (Data, Information, Knowledge and Wisdom), human thought processes and intentions, situation-awareness, service evolution and digital health. He is a member of IEEE and IPSJ.
